St Helen's Church has been a big part of my life for the past 10 years and it really feels like home. I especially enjoy greeting people, having a chat and helping everyone feel welcome and included. I am involved in worship, prayers, family activities and church events, and I also now serve as a Worship Leader and member of the MAC.

I grew up in this area from the age of 8 before moving to Liverpool for work. The Welsh language and the mountains called to me and I came back to live in Caernarfon about 20 years ago. My parents and ancestors are buried in St Deiniol’s Churchyard, and I fought hard—with the help of Rev Brian Castle—to have the church reopened in July 2023. I am proud to serve as its warden and take pleasure in looking after it.
